Adoring Emmanuel: the Eucharist as God-with-us
Deepen your faith through genuine connections with others on a spiritual pilgrimage to the Joy of Christmas. This year, we explore the theological connection between the Incarnate Jesus and the gift of the Eucharist to prepare for the coming of the infant Jesus on Christmas, and every day in the Mass!
This seminar consists of guided deep reading of scripture and poetry, meditative prayer, and LIVE online sessions with a small cohort.
No prior expertise is necessary! Whether you are just coming into the faith, desiring deep engagement, or looking for a unique Advent experience, this seminar meets you right where you are.
Let us accompany you in slowing down and preparing your heart to receive the Infant Jesus.
SEMINAR DETAILS & LOGISTICS:
Each week of the seminar, participants will receive new course material when they log into their account on hazelnutcatholic.com. THIS ADVENT, WE TRANSFORM.
IS YOUR HEART AN EMPTY MANGER?
You know that dry and empty feeling you get when you’re waiting for the Lord to show up for you? When you’ve asked Him for help, for consolation, for company, and then…
…you wait. And wait.
Advent, the Church’s time of waiting, unites us all in our emptiness and trains our focus on the coming of He who fills all voids.
Advent transforms our hearts, if we let it, from hearts of empty desolation to hearts of expectant joy.
